there are no words to describe the awe here at dif studios but I’m going to try.
we had an idea. what is dif? what does dif mean to YOU?
we knew what we wanted; a zine. we weren’t entirely sure how we would achieve it but we said fuck it, let’s ask for offerings, libations, submissions, dominations. whatever you have, send it! did you ever?!
you inspired, invigorated and turned us on. we're eternally grateful to everyone who offered up a piece of their soul as a potential contribution towards the inaugural dif zine. you let us into the intimate spaces of your creative being. you stood proud and proclaimed: “THIS IS ME!”
you placed your work on the altar of dif leaving us feeling more like spiritual caretakers rather than the curators we set out to be. thank you.
our studio is brimming with your words, images and artwork. you’re not letting us off easy and why should you? there was never going to be just one answer to our question and you proved that.
we like your style. watch this space!
[the zine team has read and considered every offering and will be in touch with all writers and artists during may about what happens next]
