bristol organic dif – having a coffee with booksellers in their shops – deep browsing their selections – walking from one words hotspot to another – listening to others imagine what dif is or could be – eyes open wide when you are introduced to a local publisher digital searches hadnt thrown up - that thing in the window actually printed that poetry collection – a friend has a tshirt press that's guarded by cats – photographing graphite drawings is not easy – one panel and one line in a manga has burst my heart – that dif doesnt have to be hard core - dif can be soft - polar bear cafe – people are already imagining a post digital world in the near future – you tube is good for documentaries on the history of queer zines – i want STH now – that there is another america, other americans but shipping and customs is now ridiculous, you try getting foglifter unless you're in academia – the space 01 project could be realised through dif.

all this feeds dif and helps to focus the bristol project which will be launched in the coming days. if you are a fiction writer, poet, music reviewer, photographer, sticker maker, graffiti artist, zine-queen, artist, songwriter anything dif with words inspiring or involved - wherever the words have landed - be ready.
